Some progress....mainly on the fuselage. The kit comes with decals for *most* of the two shades of blue on the fuselage sides, but given the instrument panel decal shattered, I decided to mask and paint. Why, oh why do I do this to myself?!?
I initially primed with Tamiya grey primer, and finished with the white primer. After sitting around for a couple of weeks, and two abortive attempts at masking, I took the final plunge. Definitely a 3-footer, but she looks OK. So far, just the lighter blue....there are two more shades of darker blue to do. This is gonna take a while!

Looking the business Damo.
That is a lovely colour scheme you have chosen.
We just don't see enough GA kits finished.....it's good to see one on the go.
