Quick update. My 262 has now been back dated to a early 262, as I will be doing a EJG 2 bird from Lechfeld, summer 1944. The gun cowling now glued down, bogged and re-scribed as the gaps were too large. Gun cowl bulges are gone (Trumpeter stuffed these up anyway!) and the rudder beacon/strobe scratch built and added.

Looking the business Adam. The 262 really is a pretty aeroplane, but I reckon if you were a B-17 driver you would have been crapping ya self with things belting towards your formation :shock:
