Revell A350 - Finnair

So another one is added to the going list of in work models. Well I have glued the cabin windows inserts in :D

Decals are from F-Dcal and are a result of a visit to the Finnish Embassy open house a few weeks ago. Got chatting to the lovely lady at the Finnair display and I got an inkling to do one of my A350s in Finnair markings. The first has just been delivered to the airline and perhaps one day I will ride in one of them to Helsinki.

I am amazed at the size of the A350 compared to a B777-200

..and an A330

I see now why Boeing may be worried about it and has progressed the new versions of the B777 with new more efficient engines and other enhancements to the airframe.

Picture of the first Finnair A350 arriving 'home'

Simple enough colour scheme, white and grey with some splashes of metallics. Lets see how quickly I stuff this up....

Looking good Ray. The A350 truly is "cutting edge", (and has given Boeing more than a few nightmares), but I think the 777/787 series will more than hold it's own in the market place.
BTW, that KC-30 looks good,

Almost ready for paint.

Had an accident with the nose gear so it will be a wheels up model now

Looks good Ray , I have a couple in the stash to do also. It's a nice looking jet for an Airbus ;) ;)

She is coming along nicely Ray. The A350 is a good-looking aeroplane, one of the best-looking Airbus's since the A310. My next Airbus build will be the Belarus Airways A310 from, World War Z,

(who would have thought that an Airbus would indirectly save the world.....that movie really was fantasy :D ).
