Fuselage: Heller DC-6 suitably modified. Apart from shortening, black areas and lines give an indication where these modifications have been done.
Wings: Inboard section to dihedral break, Airfix Lancaster plus bottom outer section. Remainder, Heller DC-6. Rather surprisingly, these sections matched up perfectly, both in plan and aerofoil section, and required no filling or trimming. The most difficult area was removing any trace of the DC-6 nacelle above the wing.
Fin/rudder: 90 mm of Lancaster outer wing with tapered insert to increase the tip chord.
Tailplane: Airfix B-29 tailplane with tapered insert to increase the root chord.
Engines: Lincoln items of unknown origin but extensively modified to suit the Tudor.

Incredible Fred - I salute a true modeller!

Where did all the bits come from to build this "Franken-Tudor"? You must have a decent scrap box!

Cheers

Some progress. On its wheels, temporarily, and first colours of AIR CHARTER livery applied.
