Hi Damo, keen to see the Giro done mate..
It's hard for me to get used to these changing times... I remember when the air was clean and the sex was dirty..

The giro is a bit of a challenge....lots of flash and parts clean up to be done, and I've had to deviate from the instructions a fair bit. There's a fairing on the front which has to be masked and painted, with the demarkation needing to line up with the fuel tank....and a couple of weapons hanging off the front. Been a bit of a head-scratcher so far. Think I've worked it out, though.

Looking good there Damo.
I will be very keen to see how the Mobil "stang" turns out, cause I think that is a lovely colour scheme.

A little more work on the Mustang over the weekend, in between flying, chores and nanna naps..
I've been using Septone Blade Putty to fill the gaps - very easy to work with, and doesn't seem to shrink. A bit of a downside to the kit are the massive sprue gates....takes a bit of work (with the requisite stuff-ups) to clean them up.
Flaps going on today, then she'll be ready for priming and paint.

I'm not happy with the Mustang...sprayed it gloss white the other day, and the panel lines stuck out like dogs nads. Stripped it all off, and started again, this time with flat white..same issue. I was misting the coats on, but just can't get it to hide the lines. I s'pose I could give it another coat or two of primer, but at the moment, it's in my bad books, and lucky to still be in one piece. :x :x

Made a bit of progress on Little Nellie - painted the fuel tank and the rest of the framework, and started assembly. Next step are the striped decals on the rudder, and registration on the fin. Most other parts are painted and ready for assembly..
