Fly models/Red Roo Ansett DC-9

Did a bit more work this morning, hoping to have painted this weekend.. First time I've experienced a Fly model kit.. Pretty good detail, goes together well.
Next to it is a Minicraft 727... TAA Central Australian theme...

Noice, Stu. Got both the Ansett and TAA boxings in the stash, plus a handful of other airliner kits. Looking at yours and others here, I'm itching to give 'em a crack!

Knotty, pretty good kit, I'm impressed with the detail, including the lightning conductor strips on the nose cone. The 727 is a bit hard work, the deep panel lines are a real pain and has seen me sand most of the arvo. The wings and horizontal stab on the 727 is too thick as well.

I know what you mean Stu , I've been filling most of my panel lines lately . In 1/144 scale I would think that panel lines would almost be non existent . This site has got me fired up to , really enjoying my modelling lately.
