A 707 "tweener" between 737s

Postby tor lives » Thu Jun 28, 2018 8:52 pm

While I am waiting for stuff to dry etc on the two 737s, I came across this ol girl hiding in a box, while looking for some 707 spare parts for one of our A/CAM FB page members.
She is the Airfix 1:144 Boeing 707-436. Like the Airfix 1:144 737-200s many of us are working on for the A/CAM Challenge Build this is a vintage offering from the original 1:144th Airfix "Skyking" passenger aircraft series. She is an old kit that has been re-issued many times, but she is not a bad kit for her age.

Here she is so far:

And this is what I have in mind for her:

Anyway, I will continue to tinker with her in between the 737 builds.

Very nice! I do love the subject... I hadn't seen this before. Very sleek livery!
