:D I tidy up a little before I take pictures. My bench gets really messy when I'm in a midle of build session.

I've been able to work on this model here and there, and finaly found some time to post an update. Nobody told me, having kids is so exhausting.

Floats are completed. I added some details and rivets. Just don't count them.

I added two more cables for rudder tillers and now I think I got it right. Floats are painted in Alclad aluminium and will recive light weathering.

Transparent parts were maskedd and a few coats of primer sprayed. first grey and then white.

And then it was time to start painting.

This is just a start, there is a lot more to mask and paint, but wings are done.

Thanks for looking in!
Cheers!

Serious WOW factor here! This model just ticks all my boxes - round engine + floats and such a cool looking aeroplane! Brilliant and inspiring work Uros!

Thanks also for the information on smash moulding. Using a candle seems like a good idea to me and I will give it a go. This is a very interesting build and I love your modeling skills. I'm looking forward to seeing the completed model.
