That is looking good Euge, clever way to figure the correct dihedral. It is looking very tidy!

Hallo.
I know I'm late, but stil in the game.

I totally forgot that the proptotype had no de-icing boots on the leading edge as the series aircraft have.
For that, Hobbycraft provided some finely engraved lines to help the modeler masking and painting black.
This fact delayed the priming stage.
I had to protect the surrounding area,

lay down Tamiya white putty,

and sand flush.

While I was polishing the wing, the model slipped down from its jig, hit the workbench hard and partially cracked the nose end where glued.
No reports on words in the air of that evening. And no pics too.
Annoying task to repair, but now it's done.

That's all. Thanks for following.
Regards
Eugenio

I hate it when that happens! Happy to hear it's fixed now and moving on.

Hi, guys.
After some preparing jobs, the "animal" is primed.

First underside,

than on top.

This process, of course, reveald some tinny gaps, some of them due to the little accident occurred and some to my mistakes.
None is visible in the pics, but they are there ad I will take care of the next week.
I'm anxious to unmask, but perhaps is too soon, even I'd avoid to leave the tape for too long. Will see.

Thanks for following.

Regards
Eugenio

Hi, Uros.
Sorry to read that.
It happened to me too, when I posted last Sunday.
Are you perhaps using "Avast secure browser"?
I had to allow the site to access the browser.
Noted today that the "village photos" appears to be not working well. I'll check at home tonight.

Hi everybody.
I have modified my email domain adding some features that allow me to have space for image hosting.
So I uploaded the new pics there, statrting since September.

And now to the Caribou, with an update regarding the landing gears.
I totally rebuilt the legs, because in the kit they were very simplified and not so much realistic.

Metal paper clips, styrene tubes, some putty.

A dry fit into the nacelles to check the high on both sides and that the model is aligned

Here the almost complete legs

And here more finished waiting for the paint to dry before some tubing.

So, that's all for the last 3 weeks of modeling. It's incredible how few time I happen to have for my hobby.
Well that's life.

Best regards
Eugenio
