I had to score more times up and down this thread to be sure that that starting point was really belonging to the same model I see almost finished now.

well the tank has arrived......and then i painted it the wrong colour and didnt realize till i'd attached it.......THEN i found out it was the wrong type of tank..Cal Nat only used the 800 gallon tank rather that the 1000 Gallon one...oh well it looks pretty nice anyway.

so then i fitted the gear.......and with the tank even though i lightened the rear part and put a bit of lead in the front part....it's a tail sitter i'll make a clear prop and drill a hole in the back of the tank to hold it on it's nose gear.

but on the other hand it does look pretty good in the end....just have to fit the gear doors and she's done

..so now to buy another tigercat and buy a lonestar 800 gallon tank and Caracal decals

Nice work Paul, shame about it being a tail sitter. Though it sounds like you have that sorted

thanks Ray..i thought i had it covered....but nope....and the clear sprue prop shouldn't detract to much
