Thank you gents, for your comments.
Now the second part of the update.

The fuselage is almost glued together.
The ballast is glued inside and the office is finished.
I still have to consider if attach the glazing and the cockpit roof to the nose area first or attach the nose section first.
AMT did a terrible choice making the glazing and the roof separated. Still confused.

Meanwhile I did some work on the wheels.
The -300 nose wheels are too small, so I decided to use the KC wheels, but their rims and hub are inadequate.
Not bad at all, but just different.
So I scraped away the hubs and the rims.

I placed a round plate between the wheels halves,

built a new hub and glued in the middle.

Unfortunately the tyres have no thread, so I scribed it with a "hi tech" tool.

Also the 8 main tyres received the same thread treatment. Believe me: I have other 6 tyres in a box.

Nice work withhe wheels Euge, I am going to borrow you tread scribing method on some C-17 wheels I think!

Yes, not sure why AMT did that with the windscreen part, the eyebrow windows are too small on the KC-135 kits.

Hi guys, I need help.
As Ray pointed out, the eyebrow windows are really small in the kit part.
So I started to enlarge them, looking to some photos on the net.
What I want to avoid is to overdo. So please can you check if I am on the right path?

It looks ok in my opinion. If you are in doubt, you can make them bigger and make smaller masks later.

And your wheel scribing is briliant. I have to remember that!

Thank you Ray and Uros for your evaluation.
Done both sides, but no pics yet.
What I've done is a lot of boring sanding, priming and rescribing on the fuselage and on the engines.
Here I considered putting something inside the cowling that could look a little plausible.

So I have prepared the stator, if it is its name; the blades are glued on the original nose cone.

Here is the first compressor stage, and it will be the only one, each engine.

So they should appear inside the engine cowling.
