There was a reason but I forgot why oh yeah I remember now, here is my reasoning, I knew that the white would require a fairly thick coat to get a good solid white so I hit it with white primer before hitting it with gloss white... hence the demarkation ridge line... that had to be cut down because positioning the decal with that "fence" in the way would be very tedious and frustrating (I've done that before), cutting it down exposes the black to risk of damage (it did in a few places) but after remasking and hitting it with black again I have evened the black / white levels and fixed the blemishes... a right royal pain in the arse all this masking but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do
