Hi! Here's my new project. I'm converting Mach2 Dc-9 into MD82. Scale is 1/72nd and it will be in the colours of Adria Airways. I printed plogs to extend the fuselage. Slats, flaps and engines are from Laci.Ltd. Wings and stabilizers are extended with styrene sheet.




It's looking rough at the moment, but hopefully I'll bring it to shape.

Lovely progress, it that the kit cockpit transparency sanding and polished up?

YOu also added a clear stip to replace the cabin window openings? Very tidy!

Yes, cockpit transparency is polished original part. Cabin window line is to high so I replaced it with clear strips. For me it's easyer to do it that way.

Heres some progress. All parts are glued on and panel lines rescribed. Almost ready for paint.

That is looking rather excellent, you would not know you started with a Mach 2 kit
