Some of you may be following my builds on AMI, others may not so I have decided to show some progress on three Macchi 326Hs I currently have on the go as commission jobs. Two will be Telstar Macchis A7-001 and 008 and the third will be A7-057 flown by Jeff Trappett when he was crashed into during a training formation back in the late eighties....early nineties and managed to land the stricken aircraft. Anyway, here's where the first one is at;

and here's the three when started;

The orange one in the centre will be the Roulettes Macchi as it has the large 90gal wing tips attached. There's another six-eight Macchis in the stash including a couple of Impalas that will be done someday.

Thanks boys,

The scale is 1/48 and the decals were revamped from an old set given to me by Antoney Wilkinson. I don't know if I can disclose my supplier at this time as he may not want everyone to know.

Decals almost done on the first Telstars Macchi A7-008; The Telstars shooting comets were a bit translucent so I had to do a double layer to take that look away. The rest of the decals are a mix of kit, home mades, Aussie Decals, Hawkeye, RooDecals and CAC Sabre spare decals

Agree with Troy. Certain looks good.

The best part of a build for me is when the decals go on.

Hi Andrew

Great work so far. What kit is this? I didn't know there is a half decent kit of the Macchi in 1/48. I'd love to build one some day. Thanks for the inspiration!

Cheers

Adam
