Back to the Bench

Postby VH-WAL » Fri Oct 17, 2014 1:28 am

Got back from the UK yesterday, spent the first of what will be many days weeding, spider web clearing, solar panel washing and a myriad other domestic tasks before I can get my hands dirty on plastic dust and super glue.
Tonight, being unable to contain myself, I broke out all my pending projects.. I have to finish some of these before I start on a few things I really want to do sooner rather than later.

A few refurbs to be done include the vacuform Dove, an Aurora Beech 18 and the Albatross (I built the Albatross in 2003 depicting a London to Sydney Air Race finisher that I got a ride on in the final leg to Sydney.. I had just restarted the hobby, it was my first ever conversion with shortened wings and tail surfaces it was before I learned how to print my own decals so it was never really finished properly)

Have to finish the Miles Falcon, the Forwarder, Widgeon to Super Widgeon conversion, Jet Jackson's "Silver Dart", a 1/48 Comet (Grosvenor House), a resin 1/72 and 1/48 Dove, Chipmunk and a 1/72 vacuform Ambassador.
I also have to finish off little bits on the Carvair that I had to leave almost done 3 months ago.
Like I said gotta get a few of these done so I can start on a Red Arrow, SAR Seaking plus a few other UK airshow inspired things as well as starting another propliner:

Very civilised looking backlog Wal! Looks like there is not too much more work on a few of those to get them on the display shelf.
