Once again this is coming along nicely. I need to get myself some of that blue painters tape. I'm going through Tamiya tape like no tomorrow :)

Yep, its good stuff for coverage. One issue I find with it is that if you leave it a while the edges tend to curl up. So before hitting the model with paint I will rub the tape down again just to make sure no paint gets under it.

I have a couple of pin stripe rolls of the stuff as well that I got off ebay a few years ago. I has come in handy for the complex curve masking before filling the gaps with slabs of the wider stuff.

The big Boeing is looking fine Sir!!!..... and that Falcon 900 in the background also looks very interesting.

PS: I hope with that angle-of-bank in some of those photos, the cargo pallets are tied down nice and tight :D

Cheers Ray,

I drag the scratchbuilt F900 every now and then (when some one asks about it) to tidy up the bits I am not happy with. There are a lot of issue with it that I need to overlook to finish it up. Next job is to scribe in in some flight controls and then I think I will start to finish it up.

As for the 767. I am trying to replicate this :D

You have captured the "look" perfectly.
How much fun would it be whipping around an over-powered, empty, (ie: nil weight), 767 freighter. She would perform like a friggen sports car!!!

Hey Ray,
How is the build going mate???
I am wanting to do a quick 1:144th build of the Tasman Cargo Airlines (operating as DHL) 757-200F freighter VH-TCA, for my office, (there is every likelihood they will soon be one of my new clients).
I have just ordered the appropriate Draw Decals sheet, and I am now deciding which kit I will use .....that Minicraft debacle :? , or the ancient Masterkit offering, (which, although old and basic, seems to have captured the 757 shape a little better the Minicraft kit, and comes with an engine-type choice).
I am up for any advice you can offer as far as Drew Decal use and application is concerned and the best colour match for the DHL yellow and red.
Thanks mate
