Qantas Boeing 767-238ER

Postby tor lives » Tue Apr 22, 2014 8:15 pm

Hi guys,
Here is my 1:144th Qantas Boeing 767-238ER.
She was converted from the Revell Boeing 767-300 kit, (as there are currently no 767-200s available in 1:144), and is dressed in decals from Hawkeye (of course!!! 8-) ).
She took 1st place in the 2009 Model Expo Airliner category, (and I haven't been able to do it again since).
The Boeing 767-238ER was the last Pratt & Whitney-powered jet in the Qantas fleet. I used to love those JT9Ds, they had a very distinct sound to them.

Love it mate... Great looking aeroplane. Nice job.
It's hard for me to get used to these changing times... I remember when the air was clean and the sex was dirty..

I have great affection for the 767 as it was my first heavy jet command.
Great example of a great aeroplane, Ray.
