The Avro Type F Cabin Monoplane was the first monoplane to feature a fully enclosed cabin. The pilot entered the cockpit through a hatch in the roof.
Model is 1/72nd scale scratch built including the engine, injet decals.

Here, here Graeme. These remind me of Gabriel Stern's scratchbuilt wonders that he sometimes showcases on ARC. Great build there Fred, ;ooking forward to more of your scratch built beauties. BTW, could you please repost some pics of your Amsco Monoplane. I'd like to try that one as a first scratch build attempt and then perhaps the Lasco Lascoter after I purchase Keith Meggs series on Australian designed and built aircraft.

Regards,
RHB.

Another work of art Fred - just tremendous! You sir must have rock steady hands and one serious magnifying lens for this work!

Would have been tough seeing directly ahead in this aeroplane - would have required moving the nose around a lot - not that there was much in the way of traffic in the air to worry about back then!

Bravo!

Adam
