Everts MD-83 Freighter

Everts Air Cargo MD-83 the first conversion of an MD-83 to a freighter . Got a commended for this one at expo last year .
Minicraft kit , 1/144 scale . Decals from Draw Decal .......the DC-6 sheet .

Beautiful mate... Too looking model, I too love the MD series.. I hope to do an Alaskan one like yourself and also an Alaskan 737-400..

Draw decal have them for 737 Stu , -400 & 800 .....they do have the MD-83 in Alaskan colours ,but not the Eskimo scheme . I got mine from PointerDog decals , I 'me pretty sure I sent you the link for them . Yell out if you haven't got it mate .

I love this one Knotty....and the photos don't do her justice, she looks even better in real life!!
Do you remember the day Everts invited you and I to be present on the tarmac in Fairbanks for the arrival of their first DC-9 Freighter......how cool was that!!! :D. Talk about right place, right time.

Thanks Ray , That was a day I will never forget. From the very low fly pass, to Cliff Evert walking around the front of the DC-9 with a beer in hand , kicking the tyres of this new jet ( well for them anyway ) he must of been thinking ........ Geez we have come a long way. It was like we were part of the family , sharing that moment with them .
