VH-TBB, before and after

VH-TBB was one of four ex-Pakistan Air Force Freighters acquired by TAA in 1961 for service in PNG. TBB, ex S4432, AP-AMF was hurried into
service as a crew trainer while TBA underwent refurbishment.

After TBA went into service, TBB was then refurbished, also in TAA Sunbird Services livery. The other two Freighters were used for spares.
The chronology of the making of the models, the last was built first and the first was built last. :roll:

Hawkeye Decals is preparing a series of sets to convert the Airfix Mk32 into any of the various Marks flown in Australia. Items include noses with and without
"bomb aimers" windows, canopy, fins and rudders, Frise-type ailerons, exhaust shroud and exhausts, fattened nacelle, cowling mounted and wing leading edge oil cooler
inlets plus a range of appropriate decals.

Great models Fred.

I must admit though.

That is one seriously ugly turkey. I hope the blokes that flew them loved them, coz I bet the mother of that plane couldn't believe her eyes.

Nice work Fred... I want to do an Ansett one of these old girls. I love these yesteryear builds.
