Nice to see you here Mike, The Zlin looks great (as usual).
I have been following your builds on other forums like UAFM and I am always blown away with the finishes you get with the older kits you tackle.
It would be nice to see some of your older builds here like the Airfix A300

Thanks for the kind comments, guys. Ray, I will definitely post some of those older kits including the Airbus.

Welcome Mike!
Totally stunning build - just love it! I've a soft spot for the Zlin-50. Some years ago I flew a Zlin-242L and would love to fly a Zlin-50. They're pretty rare these days. The wing on the Zlin-242 is lifed - after "x" number of hours it's junk. The very Zlin I used to fly was essentially dead when it's wing ran out of hours. Many Russian aerobatic aeroplanes (pre-carbon fibre) are like this. The Zlin-50 I think is a particularly good looking aeroplane. I built the AZ Models Zlin-50L - not as nice a kit as the one you've immaculately built. Bravo sir on a genius build! Here's my effort to contrast the difference between the Lycoming AEIO-540 (Zlin-50M) and the older I think Avia engine (and lower horsepower) in the Zlin-50L.

That's beautiful Adam. I see you even took the time to mask the chequered design on the wing-tips – I chickened out on that detail

Lucky for me it was a decal! I chickened out of making the aerobatic sights - would of had to scratch build them and as the quality of the kit was average, I pulled the pin on that. Your model is exceptional.
