This POS has been on the go since October 2014. Talk about dragging it out. Anyways it's finished and thank God for that. It's definitely a 10 footer as I made a few mistakes including some rookie errors. The biggest one was my own making by getting too impatient with the One Go on the bottom and it cracked on me :x :x :x I took my time on the top and it came up pretty nicely. Canopy masking is also probably my biggest drama I reckon. The entrants in the civvie category have nothing to fear from this one at expo next year. I won't go though everything as it's all in the build thread http://airliner-civil-aircraft-modeller.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=607&hilit=Macchi Anyways I'm glad it's finished and now it's time to start some car building goodness. Here's some phone pics cos it's hides a lot of my stuff ups 8-) 8-) 8-)

This is what happens when you get too impatient spraying One Go. Contrary to what others may think, this was definitely my fault and NOT the products. Quite sad I have to even say that

It may be cracked underneath but it's a beautiful gloss finish on top. What kind of paint are you using? Did you polish it too? Looks great.

Cheers man. The paint is plain old Tamiya acrylic with One Go aka Future over the top. I did sand the top of the wings slightly with micromesh as an experiment.

Just amazing Paul. Sorry to see the cracking issue - no chance to fix, or have you just had enough? Anyway - got to love red aeroplanes and it looks hot! Love the belts you used as well.

I'd end up wrecking it and I'm over it. I want to do other stuff now.
