Pretending to do it TAC style with the big boys since 1987
Also, we don't need no steenkin' VLATs!

Bloody nice job Stu , are they the Liveries Unlimited decals? I can remember that aircraft coming into Melbourne ,they had a 747 painted up the same way . Nice scheme in the flesh to.

G'day knotty, no mate, they are the decals supplied with the kit. Pretty good quality I thought. SIA had a 747 done in the same livery.

That's right ,they did release the Minicraft kit in those markings . It came out really well Capt , still waiting for a 777-300 to be released . As soon as I convert one ,I know 6 months later they will bring one out .
Did you end up getting the Welsh Models one ? Was it British Airways ?

Nice 777 mate. I'd like to do a Virgin one some day. Great work once again :)

Thanks chaps,

No knotty, I didn't get the welsh job. Like you, I'll wait.

Paul, I think knotty knows of a decal guy that does the new Virgin scheme..

Nice work Stu. Gotta love the Tamiya paint bombs!

There is a 777-300 on the market by Eastern Express. Apparently a copy of the minicraft kit with fuselage extensions thrown in. The extensions are a different diameter than the fuselage so you get a wave bend through the whole length.

There is a guy in the UK that has done the Virgin 777.

Also for a Virgin 777 you need the wingtip extensions and new donks.

Like Knotty I have another 777 kit to supply the fuselage extenions and I know when I start a proper kit will be released
