Considering how it fought you all the way, you have persevered and turned it into something very special Wal

Thanks guys, funny but I don't feel like Frank ever fought me or presented me with any dramas, he is in fact unique amongst all my ......well .......let's call them my "special models", he was what he was and I had to fix him one step at a time, it must have been a new mindset for me, this was the most modelling fun I have had forever! go figure

will blog my walk and send postcards

cheers
wal

Have a great trip Wally! Tremendous and inspiring work on your Carvair. Glad to hear it was a lot of fun - that's why we do what we do don't we?

Looking forward to hearing about your adventures in the ol' country!

Hi Wal,

Great job mate. Congratulations. :D
Used to sit in the old tower at old Brisbane during my CPL training, and watch Nev Curry and others landing - could have even been INM 8-) . Very impressive. Inspired me to fly the then unheard of "Jumbo".- similar eye height. :P (Little did I know I would be looking into the tower window from the other side a few years later.)

Enjoy your trip. Hope you see the two Lancs.

Happy Landings

Lindsay L
