Minicraft 1/144 Ansett 737-300

Postby kfutter » Tue Dec 16, 2014 6:17 pm

If I remember correctly, I bought this kit from Alex Rogers for cheap, and it's one of those oddly mislabelled ones that Minicraft is infamous for. Here's the box:

It is of course a -300, not a -400! I prefer to build my airliners in Australian liveries if I can (though not slavishly so), so I whipped out a set of Flightpath decals for the livery and another modeller sent me some AHS window decals to round things out. I also boxed out the landing gear cavity in the fuselage with styrene sheet.

Thanks for looking in!

Another very nice job Kev, (and another candidate for the 2017 Ansett display :D )

PS: yeah...what is it with Minicraft and their mis-labelled model boxes ???? :?

Thanks Ray. I really enjoyed building this one, and would like to get hold of some more. Like all of us though, I guess, I've already got too many other kits in the stash!
