1/72 1 Sqn RAAF - LIncoln A79-29

A place for our military aviation modellers to show their stuff. It may not be civil but it still has a home here

1/72 Airfix Lancaster II conversion with Blackbird Resin and Red Roo conversion extension. Done as A79-29 of 1 Squadron, Tenegah, Singapore circa 1950s. Glad to see the end of this one, BUT I still have the Mk.31 to do.

Great effort there A2, a lot of work but well worth the effort.
I have some old large B/W photos around the house somewhere of a group of Lincolns taken at Garbutt.
Rescued them from the tip at Thuringowa, Graeme's comment jogged my memory of them.

Stunning Andrew !!!
She is truly a work of art. She may have been a challenging build but just look at the magnificent results

Thanks everyone for your comments. As much as I was considering putting off doing the Mk31 I think I'm going to have to just get it done and take more time with it.
