1/48 Tamiya Lancaster B1 Special Grand Slam

Completed for a Bullcreek Aviation Museum display featuring RAF aircraft flown by Australian aircrews. The lanc is posed just dropping its Grand Slam on the Arnesburg railway viaduct. Again not my usual subject matter and scale..

hiya Ray, The Tamiya B1 special kit that allows the modelling of either the dambuster or grand slam versions.. A major change I had to make is exposed exhaust stubs, as the aircraft I modelled had unshrouded exhaust. I had to use the stubs from the two Merlins in the kit plus two other Merlins from another incomplete kit I had access to
