A place for our military aviation modellers to show their stuff. It may not be civil but it still has a home here

To go with the Mozzie although in a different theatre, I have just finished this one too from the shelf of doom for a cop mate in Geelong. It is Heller's crap 1/24 Fw-190-A5.....a real dog of a kit.

Another nice one Andrew!!!!!
Never attempted a 1:24 anything, although I might have to consider it soon, as I noticed lately that 1:72 and 1:48 parts seem to be getting smaller and harder to handle.
Lucky I had Adam to push me into the 1:32 world :D
How good would a 1:24 Mossie look in those civvie decals that Paul has just posted.

Cheers Ray. Apparently Tamiya are bringing out a 1/32 Mozzie. If it's anything like their Spitfire, Corsair and Mustang it'll be a cracker! :o

Lovely work in a tough kit, Andrew. It is indeed the same as the Airfix kit. FWIW, both HK Models and Tamiya are set to release 1/32 scale Mosquito kits in the next few weeks/months - Tamiya's will be a Mk VI, while HK's is a Mk IV. I've got an early test shot of the latter, and the one piece wing is an astounding piece of tooling.
