a sea of blue......bent wing beasts

A place for our military aviation modellers to show their stuff. It may not be civil but it still has a home here

the first one is a special hobby F2G-1 corsair 1/72 scale...not a bad kit to build with reasonable detail.
the markings are for the first production F2G-1 built that still survives in the Museum of flight in Seattle.

the second kit is a Tamiya F4U1-D the was started by another now gone modeler,it has a PE instrument panel and front part of cockpit plus seatbelts...it's a lovely kit to build.
the markings are for Marines sqn VMF 112 operating of the carrier USS Bennington

Very nice Paul, certainly much cleaner than my own grubby F4U efforts.

Beautiful work Paul. I really like how you can do multiple builds to a theme at once.
