Airfix Avro Vulcan

A place for our military aviation modellers to show their stuff. It may not be civil but it still has a home here

Resin exhausts, Fundekals decals.

It's too windy for my usual letterbox photoshoot

The semigloss finish is just a bit shinier than I wanted but it will do. Plenty of little flaws on this but it is a striking model (only because the aeroplane was a striking design). The stand is still a WIP but I need to get on with Frank the Carvair.
Looks great on the shelf.

Really nice Wally, I'm surprised the Airfix stand can hold it up though

thanks Graham...the stand has been modded..resparred with double stiffener plates, depleted uranium (ok lead) weighted base, and brass stand / aeroplane interface mount
