Thanks Wayne. I wouldn't bother to do this with all kits, but if they're old enough that I possibly assembled them with tube glue, then they're that much easier to get apart again.

as a fan of Zero's....that is beautiful work!!!!!...i hope my latest one looks half as good as this one(though it's a lot smaller..1/48 tamiya)
