Show us what you last bought....the thread...

As the title says, post a picture of your last purchases so we can drool over them.

Here's what I picked up at the swap and sell on the weekend. The thud is 1/72, the F-16 1/48. I know the F-16 has some accuracy issues but for $10 each, it's cheap enough not to care about.

Nice, the Hobbycraft Skyhawks are pretty decent kits.

Hey Paul,
I note ya got some good "Aggressor" reference books there.
Have ya got this one??

It's pretty dam good, chocked cover to cover with Aggressor A-4s, F-5s, F-21s, F-16s, T-2s, and even Hueys.
If you don't have it and wish to borrow mine, feel free. I don't normally loan out my aviation books, but as you are doing me a huge favour in the form of jugs for my Strikemaster, I am happy to loan this to you if ya want.

PS: there is a reasonably priced one on eBay at the moment

My last purchases were from the PX2016 swap meet in Brisbane last May. Nothing exciting but they were all kits I didn't have in my stash.

Very last purchase was the Grey Matters 1/24 Fw-190D-13 conversion for the rotten Trumpy Fw-190D-9 kit, plus the cockpit set, plus the gear and wheels sets. When I will start this remains to be seen, but it was either throw out the Trumpy kit which I've had stashed for years or do something with it. This conversion set is amazing! Check it out.

Oh, and I've purchased on a whim a new airbrush - a Olympos HP-62B. Looks very similar to a Iwata brush as Olympos did sell it's design to Iwata some time ago apparently. Somehow they are back in production and half the price of Iwata. I wanted a second brush for bought this. Cup size is smaller than the Iwata, but should not pose a hassle. Perhaps I'll review it once I give it a go.

Replacing the fuselage on the Trumpeter kit takes care of most of the problems i think.

You won't regret it. For a man like you who loves his aggressor jets, it's pure aero-porn :D . On flicking through it again last night, I was surprised at just how many aggressor A-4 colour scheme variations there are. You are going to need some more A-4 kits I think.
