Just imagine what could be achieved if he used his skills for good (civil models) instead of evil (military stuff).

Hi Salty, I have done a civil aircraft before mate, something interesting though and one which doesn't look like it came in a few bits out of a packet from the airport newsagent. I will endeavour to take some better pics to put in the completed section for Ray.

Lordy !

Supermarine's Schneider trophy entry.
The 1925 S.4
Is it the 1/32 Aerotech kit? Bid you do a build log?
THIS would be a magic aeroplane to put on the table at expo (if indeed there's any room left).
Wow. Again, wow.

Is there no end to your embarrassment of skills?

I just love this Capt Eric...it is just beautiful and a real visual treat when seen in the "'flesh".
Thanks for posting

Hi Salty, this model actually already did the trip south last year, as evidenced by this link: (see page 4)

And it was a sight to behold...thanks for bringing her down last year Capt Eric. Living proof that inside every military aviation model builder there is a civil aircraft builder just waiting to burst out :D .

Goodness me....in the company of greatness!

No doubt there are some very skilled modellers amongst the members of ACAM judging by some names on those results.
