Helicopter Floats

Postby hrtpaul » Fri Jun 24, 2022 6:13 pm

Righto peeps this is what happens when I'm bored at work and allowed on the internet unsupervised    I'm chasing drawings and dimensions of the floats used on Jet Rangers and Iroquois. Apart from 1 I found on Grubby Fingers website and a drawing of a swedish B206, both of which don't have dimensions, I've come up with diddly squat    I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Cheers peeps

Paul,

These are probably what you have already, but just for everyone else's information...

Bell 206 Jetranger drawing (no dimensions) : https://i.pinimg.com/736x/9a/6c/67/9a6c67e100c9724316d63dd3bb880e2a--blue-prints-leveon-bell.jpg
You will have to resize it to match your kit's fuselage length

Bell 205 Iroquois drawing : http://www.grubby-fingers-aircraft-illustration.com/support-files/grubby_truth_08_august_2009.pdf
Just print off page 2 for 1/72 scale or page 3 for 1/48 scale

Scott.

I’ve got a number of Matchbox Twin Otter floats you can have if they are close to either of those (206 most likely by the looks of it and not the Huey). Yell out if you want them.
