737 BBJ

Postby Cap'n Wannabe » Fri Apr 18, 2014 9:07 am

G'day folks..
I've just bought a 1/72 737 BBJ, and I'm wondering how much work to convert it to -700 or -800?
Pretending to do it TAC style with the big boys since 1987
Also, we don't need no steenkin' VLATs!

G'day Damo,
Is it the Welsh kit???
There should be no difficulty at all in converting any BBJ to a "standard" 737-700 as the BBJ is in effect just a 737-700 airframe with a fancy paint job, long range tanks, and customized VIP interior. "BBJ" was/is a marketing name as opposed to a specific aircraft type or sub-variant of 737. For marketing purposes "BBJ" is now even informally applied to a VIP/ Biz jet configured 747-8, 777, or even 787-8/9.
