That's cool...I knew Georgina when she was just a young Second Officer....she is now Jetstar's chief pilot, (geez I feel old :? ).
We all know about the large airliner storage yards, but have you ever wondered where GA and Biz-jet types go to "die"

Knotty, here is one of the places we need to visit on our next USA Aviation trip :D

I don't think old mate was supposed to be in there by the looks of it , very early morning mission it seems.!!

It's at Harry S. Trumann Regional Airport, Bates City, Missouri.

Yeah, looks like he snuck in there on an early morning raid....possibly not the way to do it :? .
I have checked it out in the net, you can arrange a tour of the place, (just as we have done with other places).

As we know, a little bit of planning goes a long way with these sorts of things :D .

Buy graveyard, sell all usable bits, scrap what is surplus to coolness requirements and buy that P-51 for me to fly (a company purchase - good for tax!) - now there is a plan! We can put a dual seat in the P-51 with some controls - like Judy pay's Mustang at Tyabb - cool huh!

We can paint "Ray & Knotty's Aeroplane Surplus Co." on the side of the P-51! :D
