Once again.....IS risky, and quiet frankly, stupid and completely unnecessary
I know some will always be impressed by these cheap and chessy "death defying" clown acts .....but I am not one of them.

Couldn't agree more. The seriously reckless behaviour of the daredevil motorcyclist totally outweighs all expectations for the safety of the community/observers at such events.
F*ckin 'Evel Knievel' has lots to answer for.

Well, it didn't happen because all involved considered it far too windy. Which guy are you talking about Adam? The pilot or the cyclist? Could you send me the pm too please? BTW Adam, I have a few T-28 Trojan pics from today and I'm going to be taken many more pics tomorrow.. I'll upload them either tomoorow evening or Monday evening.

Honestly Nicolas, I do think it's great you want to beat a drum for Mr. Bennet. As I've tried to explain elsewhere, these sorts of stunts just don't do it for me. Perhaps I've just had some different experiences to you in this regard, so have a different perspective - no big deal at all.

Yeah....I am with you Adam. I am just not that impressed by these silly, circus side-show stunts.
And for what it is worth Nicolas....I have had to attend funerals where they haven't "lived to tell the tale".

Sadly another aerobatic pilot has died yesterday. This time in the Hunter Valley apparently near Cessnock and a friend that I've just seen said it was a red plane and the ABC News this morning said it was a Pitts Special. As yet the pilot has not been officially identifed and the cause of the crash is yet to be investigated. Investigators will be on scene today. Stay safe people.
