Wow, what a scheme

I'm no Skyhawk expert, but I have never heard of an A-4L, maybe it's a rebuild of an A-4C, because the couple of photos of these that exist on Anet seem to suggest the earlier type of intake, the other thing is that the refueling probe is a straight one, when the later ones were kinked out, and why do they have the avionics hump? maybe going to appear in Expendables 5.

All this tends to make me think these are A-4C's or similar.

From Wikipedia
"A-4L
100 A-4Cs remanufactured for Marine Corps Reserves and Navy Reserve squadrons. Fitted with A-4F avionics (including the fuselage "hump") but retaining J-65 engine and three-pylon wing."

It would be a very interesting model being what appears to be a bit of a hybrid - A-4C with some A-4F (hump, etc) bits. Really eye catching camo scheme.

Go for it Paul!

As much as I would like it to be, I am not sure weather it would be accepted into the civvie category. Reason being is that it sports a "military style" camo scheme. As the Expo Committee explained to me, if the aircraft in question wears a predominantly military scheme, (regardless of a civil registration), it would not be eligible for entry into the civvie, (or more correctly...non-military), category.
Still....ya don't know if ya don't try.
