Read the news this morning of a awful crash in the UK involving a Folland Gnat at a event called Carfest - organised by the new Top Gear presenter.

My thoughts pour out to the pilot's family and friends.

Bad couple of days in the UK - these two accidents on top of the horrific crash of that Saudi exec jet involving members of Bin Laden's family.

And the Mil Mi-28 crash at an airshow in Russia. Overall not a good weekend for the aviation community. One crew member dead in that crash. RIP to all those who've lost their lives last weekend and thoughts and prayers for their families and friends.
