Great find Troy - might just have to buy one! I'll measure the length of my 1/32 F-105D, as this is my longest model - see if it fits.

Cheers

Adam

Are they sealed mate or like the Ikea ones with gaps at the corners?

From what I can see, from the picture, like the Aldi ones, the only gaps are around the doors, which is to be expected. The back, top and sides are all sealed. I had a look at the Ikea ones on Friday night and was not impressed. The Aldi ones are far superior.

I got the quote back and shipping to Melb. comes in at $99.00

On a side note, I just picked up from the glass company three doors down from my work, four shelves cut to size for my existing Aldi cabinets, for $142. Makes me scratch my head how Aldi can sell a full cabinet for $100, yet I cant find a way to get four shelves cut to size for less than $142. Not complaining though, this will increase my current display capacity by 50% without increasing the floor space used, and I will likely get four more next pay for the second cabinet.

No Eric, but I'll be getting some for sure.

The display case arrived today and I had it assembled in around two hours. Its the new home of my RAAF museum.

The new space allowed me to graduate the RAAC into one of the Aldi cabinets too.

Thanks Ray, I agree. The two new Mirages will go with the Other Mirage and the Phantom. I'll likely move a few things around yet. Maybe earliest to latest, top to bottom. Or fighters, bombers and transport. Looking at the large space above the cabinet, I'm thinking a 1/144 Wedgetail may need to be hung from the ceiling to provide AWAC cover.

I was quickly running out of space, so I ordered a new cabinet, which arrived today and assembly is now complete. I've ordered some more LED's for lighting it up, but they will take a few weeks to get here. Local prices are too crazy.

Now I have the space to start on the Beaufighter, Spartan and some other kits I had no room for. Maybe a Wedgetail or a Globemaster III will find a home in there too.

Here are some of my other cabinets too. These ones from Ikea.
