It looks like Egyptair Flt 804 is missing. Had just entered Egyptian airspace on route from Paris to Cairo.

Not looking good at all.

How the F*&k can yet another aircraft just simply "go missing"

They'll find it TOR is my best wild ass guess. The Med looks to be fairly deep approximately where 804 disappeared, so recovery of the CVR/FDR could possibly take some time.



I'm not speculating any more than officials at Egyptair, but I find it intriguing that it disappeared off radar right slap bang in the middle of that part of the Med - between Crete (north west) and Cyprus (north east) and Turkey (north) and Egypt to the south.

Who knows what has happened at this stage and my sympathies go out to the families of those on-board this flight.

This is a worrying sign - smoke detected in 804. Still, it will be some time before it is discovered what caused/initiated a fire on-board.
