This is a sad but none-the-less intriguing photo that many may not have seen:

The photo was taken just as fire aggressively takes hold of a P-3 on the tarmac at RAAF Base Edinburgh, (geez......that foam is doing a good job :? ).

The outside is not on fire. That's where the foam is, Ray.

This happens to be the P-3B I am in the process of finishing, mind you before the fire!

The fuselage went to DSTO and the wings ended up on this USN P-3C (BuNo 157330) after the yanks asked very nicely for them.

One of the older boxings of the P-3 kit comes with VP-50 decals so I was considering building it as well :D

Well that's a coincidence Ray.
Why did 157330 need the wings off 300???
