Yep, what a pisser!!!. :lol: :lol: I thoroughly enjoyed that scene.....right up there with the C-123 crash landing scene from
Air America .

Yep, that was SO realistic! :lol: What a bad day in the office! Excellent choice of sunny's by Dennis Quaid though - Randolph Engineering, the only sunnies ever worn on the moon!

Gimme the original Flight of the Phoenix with Jimmy Stewart and Hardy Krüger any day. Famous movie "stunt" pilot Paul Mantz tragically died during the filming of the Phoenix landing though. :cry:

Any movie featuring big round engine aeroplanes must be commended and essential viewing! :D Very hard to beat "Always" - Catalina's, A-26's, Super D's - what's not to love!

Yep.....agreed Adam. I actually liked both versions of Flight of the Phoenix although the critics panned the re-make. I also enjoyed Air America and loved Always predominantly because of the big prop action, (something Knotty taught me to appreciate)
