Ah yes, another mystical buried item worth millions, just waiting for the taking. So at the risk of being the overly negative, cynical human being that I simply cannot help but be, I bet these guys will find nothing by soil! Or perhaps they might find a Spitfire?

I found that train already. For safe keeping and tax purposes, I dumped the whole lot in a lake in Bavaria, along with some Fw's I also found. :D

Ah, let 'em off Brad - it all good. Let 'em live the dream. A man has to have a hobby right. Sometimes these "hair-brained" ideas pay off - and it gets 'em out of the house!

How about those that find stuff like...

Hey Wally, are you sure you're not just walking around the hills and dales of the ol' country? I'd be pointing a metal detector down in front of me - could pay off! Cha-ching! :D

I don't doubt there is treasure out there to find, I believe there are still several Spanish Galleons off the US coast that are unaccounted for and full of gold etc and several people have found other ship wrecks off the coast that has netted them millions.

However, those are pretty serious treasure hunters, I mean they immerse themselves in the libraries, in history books etc, they aren't a bunch of cowboys with a backhoe saying 'we think we found something strange". Besides which, these guys don't go around telling anyone where they think a ship wreck worth millions is, nor do they reveal their research until well after the fact, if ever.

Let's face it, if you knew where a cash of treasure worth millions was, would you tell anybody???? I sure as hell wouldn't.
