Thanks guys much appreciated. It's early days but actually accompanied my better half into the supermarket a week after surgery and swapped my crutches for a trolley as a support,
for the first time in over ten years I was able to stand upright and walk like a normal dude. It was like flying down the aisles with the wind in your hair, can't explain the feeling after all those years
of sheer pain. My x-rays look like I have a pair of matching large sized Nulla Nullas as hips now, medical science is wonderful.

Yvette will have you doing all the running around shortly, now that you are so nimble

Graeme, nimble is not a word that springs to mind at present. Those clinking and clunking crutches are driving me nuts
plus the noise of them remind me of the Terminator clunking up the passage way.
I have been told by Yvette that there is a long list of catching up that will need to be attended to in due course.
