Any F1 fans here?

If so what do you think of the cars that have been revealed so far? Apparently I've been given an "F" in car design as I described the Merc as a "BoS" when apparently it is "a work of Art".

Anyway Testing starts this week. I usually follow Autosport Live :

but I also see Sky has one too :

And now the Team formerly known as V J Mallaya's Plaything - otherwise known as Force India - and the VJM11 (what it's been over 11 plus whatever years since Eddie Jordan sold out?!) :

Nice pink - try matching that colour and masking that scheme!

Sorry, F1 does nothing for me. I'm strictly a two wheeled fan, Moto GP, Superbikes, Drag bikes, Enduros and especially Speedway bikes, dirt and Ice racing both.
Great photos by the way but not my cup of tea. Rally cross, Drag racing in certain classes especially the old altereds and gassers and front engined rails float my boat.

Wayne.

Being a Melbournian, I did used to love the F1. Living about 10kms from Albert Park, it used to be easy to hear the F1s doing their thing - no more. I can hardly hear them any more, which is to me sad. I do get the whole pushing tech thing, but quite honestly, I'd love to see a return of the 50's/60's era (well, a safer version thereof!) - no down force, no automation, just pure racing. F1 just seems so controlled these days. I'm not taking anything away from the drivers themselves, who are all amazing of course - just F1 itself. It just seems to me that these days, there is little to get excited about with F1. What's next - hybrid F1, all electric F1? :?

Seriously, just how beautiful is Brabham's ol' F1! Once there was a time of F1 racing legends.

Adam, although I can understand your point of view, turning the clock back is not the answer, for example as a daily drive try driving an original EH Holden with drum brakes, and 3 on the tree with no syncro on 1st, compared to what you drive today, if you ever have there is no way you would go back, and you couldn't make any of those old F1's safer unless you did what they have done today, the death toll in F1 has come down dramatically because of the changes.

or in aviation terms try doing aeros in a Tiger Moth, Victa Airtourer or C152 Aerobat (I have) compared to the stuff you have been doing them in, a four point roll is the best you can hope for, even thinking about more will bring you undone.

Nostalgia is great, but reality is such a bitch.
