if only thunder city hadn't fucked up majorly .........a T5 frightning would have been up there with a P40 flight....or 10 laps around the Nurburg ring

I did actually give a Frightning flight some thought. Given what we now know, well, perhaps a good thing for me it didn't go beyond that. There's taking risks and then taking RISKS! Two of the three pilots I've gone on "experience" flights with are dead.

Weeeeeeell, I've still got a decent mortgage to pay off, kids to feed, clothe, educate and straighten out their teeth (won't bore you with the details!). Soooooo, maybe if at the end of all that and they're still flying and I'm healthy enough and perhaps still stoopid enough to do this, then definately! :-) I'd love to do a three day course on the Zipper - it would be amazing. A former F-100. F-105, F-4 & F-5 pilot I often chat with got a couple of rides in the Zipper and did confirm it turns like shit. Still, it was a fighter that excelled in the vertical regime and could out accelerate pretty well everything up to Mach 2.

Still, it's nice to dream huh.
