Well, we're all still pretty shocked by what happened in Christchurch a few days ago - I certainly am. I simply want to state that my thoughts are going out to our bros across the Ditch. 50 humans were murdered and dozens injured in a act of pure evil. I don't want to go into politics of religion on this, just a simple statement to acknowledge this act of pure evil and if nothing else, offer my thoughts to those effected. Poor Christchurch once again. We've seen the worst in what a human can do to other humans. Now we're seeing the best with the support and healing for those directly effected. It's indeed heart breaking that this evil has touched such a special part of our planet. Knowing a few Kiwis, they're a tough bunch and of course they'll get over this and be stronger as a nation for it. Not much solace in this though for the families effected.

Hang tough Kiwis. Your tears are ours too.

Two things came to mind after this atrocity:

1. gun laws easier to do it there than over here
2. Kiwi preparedness.. long response time and what were they thinking when they took him alive?
