For you multi-engine aficionado's!

Postby Adam the Akrodude » Wed May 21, 2014 12:04 pm

Found a couple of multi-engine vid's which may be interesting. Goddamn it - because of this website and some prior brain washing (all Ray's fault!), I'm now looking up multi-engine videos - ARGH!

Just cool I think - Knotty will like this!

A rejected takeoff ( RTO ) is a dynamic event in an airliner....often low speed rejects can pose a few issues if the crew apply excessive reverse thrust.. The Thompson A330 RTO is a great clip.. It shows how effective the RTO function is on a modern RPT jet..

The cause of the RTO and subsequent indications will dictate further actions such as evacuation etc..
It's hard for me to get used to these changing times... I remember when the air was clean and the sex was dirty..

Read the 4th comment down on the A330 engine failure on take off vid, that's gold.
