Well, I've done it. I just booked and paid for my first ATPL exam on December 1st. TOR, you'd be proud - it's Human Factors! :D

Good luck with it all. The more I hear about the flying game these days the less attractive it looks. But, as one of the Rules of Acquisition says (I've forgotten which one) 'If it's worth doing, it's worth doing for money.'

One down, six to go. Well, seven, if you count IREX, but that's a different course.
83% for ATPL Human Factors. Meteorology next, which was my worst subject when I did CPL theory......I got one question wrong on the exam! :D

Major difference between what Damo has been flying and what you TOR used to work in, is that from a "users" perspective, a Decathalon is great for loosing one's lunch, whereas a airliner is great for being served and eating one's lunch! :D

Well, yesterday I finally got to chuck the Decath around somewhat. After having 5 bookings cancelled due weather, it all came together, and I got some aerobatics training in :D :D :D
